This is a graduate level course on cellular biology. For the year of 2021, four specific topics are dealt with: subcellular organization, intercellular compartmentalization, cellular heterogeneity, and intercellular communications. The state-of-the-art laboratory methods are discussed, and in connection with these the students are to carry out problem-solving exercises with applications from their own research topics on oral biology.
